In my free time…

Cars

My passion for JDM cars started in high school. As I went to a trade school, I majored in automotive, learning everything going on with cars.

In my junior of high school, I fell in love with the Scion FRS, and I saw some of my friends had it, so I saved up until my senior year to buy it.

I had it for a couple of years, but in my junior year of college, I got in a crash and totaled my car.

Even though my car was totaled, I repurchased it and fixed it alone.

Photography + Videography

In high school my high school was a trade school. I also took a digital media production major until my senior year, as the schedules didn’t align with when I wanted to major in automotive.

But in 2020, when COVID hit my senior year. I got stuck in the house and wanted to take my hobby seriously. I worked the graveyard shift during COVID at UPS to afford my dream camera, a Sony A7iii.

Since then, I have been a part of many photo shoots, including graduation shoots, headshots, and product shots, and I have been getting more clients as people have begun to notice my work.

Clothing brand

In 2022, I partnered with a clothing company to do my fan apparel stuff. Soon after, I started to get messages that the quality was terrible and the ship times were long.

I took it part of myself to start my own clothing brand called “MJAYDUB,” which is my initials. I began to learn the process of selling apparel.

As I started to get more sales. I began to realize that selling fan apparel only gets you so far, so I began to transition my brand into streetwear and where I am today.
